   5       The Z39.50 Target Directory contains all the
   6       <a href="http://lcweb.loc.gov/z3950/agency/"
   7         >ANSI/NISO Z39.50 (ISO 23950)</a>
   8       and
   9       <a href="http://www.loc.gov/sru"
  10         >SRU/SRW</a>
  11       targets known to us. The tables show the name, address, port,
  12       reliability info, search attributes and other data useful
  13       for achieving interoperability.

  16       We at Index Data know that the records currently in this
  17       directory represent only a fraction of the Z39.50/SRU/SRW
  18       compliant databases that exist.  Our aim is to make this
  19       directory as comprehensive as possible.  To that end, we ask
  20       your help.  If you are aware of a Z39.50 compliant target that
  21       is not represented in our directory, please add it or send us
  22       email with the details. Also, if you should happen to find an
  23       error in our data or have additional information, please don't
  24       hesitate to <a href="mailto:irspy@indexdata.com">contact us</a>

  26       information as accurate and comprehensive as possible.

  35       targets require. In addition, the information presented here
  36       should not be considered indicative either of the functionality
  37       of the native interface of the target, or of the functionality
  38       of any given software system or installation. This directory is
  39       made available for evaluation purposes only.  Although we try to
  40       make it as accurate as we can, Index Data assumes no
  41       responsibility or warranty for its correctness.
