Subject: [PATCH] Attempt to use generated PDF.  At present, this is ignored
 and the ugly low-resolution PNG used instead, I think
 because we need to put some "use the damned PDF file, you
 fool" magic in the LaTeX, but I'm not sure.  For now, we
 just live with the PNG.
